<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for accommodating tissue paper for household use, from which one can appropriately extract both tissue paper for household use of roll type and tissue paper for household use of laminated type. <P>SOLUTION: In a container 100 for accommodating tissue paper for household use, a container body 10 includes a placement part 40 having a placement surface 41a where tissue paper P for household use is placed. The placement surface 41a elastically deforms by a weight of the tissue paper P for household use placed thereon to allow either the tissue paper P for household use of roll type or the tissue paper P for household use of laminated type which is formed by folding tissue papers to be placed thereon.
