摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator shortening an acquisition time of a positioning signal of a GPS satellite by using a piezoelectric oscillator having no temperature compensating circuit incorporated, and also to provide a reception device using the piezoelectric oscillator, and a satellite acquisition control method of the reception device using the piezoelectric oscillator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the piezoelectric oscillator 1 is constituted by assembling an IC 2 for the piezoelectric oscillator and a piezoelectric vibrator 4 in the same package, a temperature sensor 7 can precisely detect the temperature of the piezoelectric vibrator 4. The piezoelectric oscillator 1 is put in a thermostatic chamber and the relation between a temperature T and a frequency of an output frequency fout is obtained. Temperature coefficients (A, B, C, and D) and an offset coefficient (E) are calculated from the obtained frequency-temperature characteristics and written in a memory 10. When the piezoelectric oscillator 1 is incorporated in the reception device, a temperature coefficient and an offset coefficient are extracted from the memory 10 to find a frequency deviation of the piezoelectric oscillator 1 from an approximate curve calculation expression, and a search range from the satellite is offset by the frequency deviation to obtain the frequency of the GPS satellite.
