PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single lever faucet effectively developing noise deadening effects on water flowing noises without incorporating another component such as a meshed member for noise deadening effects. SOLUTION: In the single lever faucet, a mixing chamber 66 of a movable valve element 48 constructed with a single member is formed with a vertical wall 114 rising from the sliding face and a ceiling portion 116, and provided with a plurality of protruded strips 118 along the inner face of the vertical wall 114, extending all over the inner face of the vertical wall 114 upward from the lower end on the sliding face side.
