PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image playback apparatus and a moving image playback method capable of performing correction according to user's preference to be executed to a moving image on the basis of the features of correction executed by a user to an imaged image. SOLUTION: The moving image playback apparatus 100 includes: a display 140 for displaying a moving image; an imaging unit 150 for imaging a subject; a control unit 130 for exerting control so as to correct the moving image displayed on the display 140 on the basis of correction information indicating the features of correction when an image picked up by the imaging unit 150 is corrected; and correction information of the correction made by the control unit 130.
