PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which comprises a planar display such as a liquid crystal display and can be installed outdoors. SOLUTION: In the image display device, an accommodation room 121 is formed inside a housing 12 having a waterproof structure, an image display panel 11 including a screen viewable from a front surface side of the housing 12 is disposed inside the accommodation room 121, and an evaporator 191 collecting heat generated from the image display panel 11 is arranged on the side of a rear surface 111 the image display panel 11. Inside the housing 12, a condenser 192 releasing heat collected by the evaporator 191 to the outside of the housing 12 is arranged outside the accommodation room 121. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
