摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic characteristics measuring device and magnetic characteristics measurement method of stably and accurately measuring the magnetic characteristic of a magnetic substance, while applying an alternating field to the moving band-like or plate-like magnetic substance which suppresses complication of the device and increase in the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This magnetic characteristics measuring device 1 magnetizes the moving magnetic substance F with the alternating field and measures the magnetic characteristic. The magnetic characteristics measuring device 1 includes magnetizers 10 and 20, arranged near the passing position of the magnetic substance F, detecting coils 13 and 23 for detecting a magnetic flux by the magnetizers, magnetic flux density measuring sections 102 and 202 for measuring the magnetic flux density induced in the magnetic substance, by using the detection voltage output from the detecting coils as an input signal, magnetic characteristics calculating sections 103 and 203 for calculating the magnetic characteristics, based on the magnitude of the magnetic field calculated from the value of exciting current and the magnetic flux density, and a magnetic characteristics correcting section 400 for correcting the magnetic characteristic so as to reduce the error caused by the speed, based on the passing speed V of the magnetic substance.
