<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for filling a food other than a drink into a foil bag. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for filling a food 42 into a foil bag 24 includes a transfer device 23 which transfers the foil bag 24, a filling device 27 which fills a separate amount of the solid food 42 into the foil bag 24, and a closing device 43 which closes the foil bag 24. The method for filling the food 42 into the foil bag 24 includes a step of transferring the foil bag 24, a step of filling a separate amount of the solid food 42 into the foil bag 24, and a step of closing the foil bag 24.
