The invention relates to an actuation device (1) which can be used to manoeuvre a mobile closure, darkening or sun protection element or a projection screen. The inventive device comprises a user control interface (7) which is connected to an electrical power source (Ph, N) which is equipped with at least two connected contacts (S1, S2) having a common terminal which is connected to the electrical power source and which can be used to power a motor (4) and an electronic control unit (5). The motor (4) is powered via the electronic control unit (5). The invention is characterised in that the contacts (S1, S2) of the user interface (7) are break contacts which enable the electronic control unit (5) to be permanently powered when at least one of said contacts is idle.
