PURPOSE: A backlight unit using a light emitting diode is provided to prevent a dark part by reflecting the light through the change of a route of the light which is emitted from the light emitting diode and to improve the quality of a screen by uniformly maintaining brightness. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit comprises a circuit board, a plurality of light emitting diode chips(30), and an optical member(40). The multiple light emitting diode chips are each other separated on the circuit board. The light comes out from the light emitting diode chip. The optical member varies a route of the partial light which is come out from the light emitting diode chip. The optical member transfers the partial light between the light emitting diode chips. |
