SOLID STATE DISK AND DATA MANAGE METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A semiconductor disk device and a data management method thereof are provided to supply data at high response speed about a reading request from a host. CONSTITUTION: A buffer memory(230) temporarily stores data which is read from an NVM(Non-Volatile Memory)(240). An SSD(Solid State Disk) controller(210) accumulates the pattern of a reading request repetitively provided from a host. The SSD controller forms pattern database. The SSD controller predicts a next reading request after current reading request in reference to the pattern database. The SSD controller pre-fetches the predicted data from the NVM to the buffer memory.
