PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork improving the ride comfort of a bicycle by stabilizing damping action when a piston speed is in a micro low speed region of 0.05 m/sec or lower. SOLUTION: The front fork comprises a bearing where a seal case portion 1a for an inner tube 2 to be inserted therethrough has slide contact with the inner tube 2 while forming the opening end of an outer tube of a fork body consisting of the outer tube and the inner tube 2, an oil seal for slide contacting the inner tube 2 in series to the bearing, and a dust seal for slide contacting the inner tube 2 in series to the oil seal. It also has a friction ring 11 between the bearing and the oil seal, and an adjusting means 13 for adjusting friction against the inner tube 2 while slide contacting the inner tube 2 during the movement of the friction ring 11 relative to the inner tube 2.
