PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a fuel gas of chicken droppings as dispersion-type biomass waste, which apparatus is adapted so that the fuel gas can be produced by a continuous operation while keeping high apparatus sealability, preventing detonation and continuously feeding chicken droppings and so that thermal and electric energy can be obtained while achieving the absorption and recovery of treatment cost. SOLUTION: There are provided an apparatus for producing fuel gas from chicken droppings, which fuel gas production apparatus comprising a chicken dropping feeder and a gasifier, wherein the chicken dropping continuous feeder comprises a detector, a chicken dropping feed conveyor (4), a feed part (51), and an introduction part (52), and the gasifier comprises a detector, a gasifier body (7), an air nozzle (33), a cutout rotor (34), and a cutout screw conveyor (8), and a method using the same.
