<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion type membrane separation apparatus using fine air bubble diffusing pipes for generating fine air bubbles efficiently, evenly and uniformly even when using a single gas supply pipe and, moreover, increasing the length of an air diffusion pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The immersion type membrane separation apparatus disposed to be immersed in a treatment tank 8 stored with liquid to be treated includes: a separation membrane module 23 in which a plurality of flat membrane type separation membrane elements are arranged side by side such that membrane surfaces are parallel to one another; and a plurality of fine air bubble diffusing pipes 6 which are disposed on the vertically under side of the separation membrane module and are connected with one gas supply pipe 10, the plurality of fine air bubble diffusing pipes being extended in a direction intersecting the membrane surfaces of the separation membrane elements. In the immersion type membrane separation apparatus, each fine air bubble pipe has at least a cylindrical support pipe and an elastic sheet, the elastic sheet is arranged so as to cover the outer circumference of the support pipe, gas supplied to the inside of the support pipe flows into a gap between the support pipe and the elastic body from a plurality of holes disposed on the surface of the support pipe, fine slits of the elastic sheet are opened and, thereby, fine air bubbles are generated toward outside of the diffuser pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
