<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor in which leakage current is unlikely to occur. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the solid electrolytic capacitor, an anode terminal 3 has an opposing portion 31 which faces the side surface of an anode lead 12 in an exterior resin, and a metal wire 5, both ends of which are connected to the opposing portion 31, is provided along the circumference of the anode lead. The metal wire 5 has a U-shaped or loop-shaped bend. An end of the anode lead 12 penetrates between the bend and the anode terminal 3, and at least part of the bend is electrically connected to the end of the anode lead 12.
