<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case capable of downsizing a substrate and a substrate unit while assuring reliable electric connection of a lower case, an upper case and the substrate, the substrate unit, and a method of manufacturing the unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shield case 5 for storing the substrate 2 includes the lower case 4, the upper case 3 for covering over the lower case 4, and a bulkhead 6 provided between the lower and upper cases 4 and 3 for electrically connecting the cases 4 and 3. The bulkhead 6 includes a low protrusion 61 which protrudes from the lower case 4 toward the upper case 3 and has an upper surface between the lower case 4 and the upper case 3 thereby passing through the substrate 2 and allowing electric connection with the substrate 2, and a high protrusion 62 which protrudes from the lower case 4 toward the upper case 3 higher than the low protrusion 61 thereby coming into contact with the upper case 3.
