<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cylinder washing combining a brush and a washing cloth which maintains uniformity in control and supply of the amount of the washing liquid and which also enables secure and brief washing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cylinder washing means includes: a washing cloth unit 4 which wipes off the surface of a cylinder 1 by pressing a washing cloth 6 onto the outer circumference surface of the cylinder with a washing pad 9 and then winds up the used washing cloth onto a take-up roll 8; a brush unit 5 with a rotating brush 10 which contacts the outer circumference surface of the cylinder on the upstream side of the washing cloth unit in conjunction with the rotational direction of the cylinder; a washing liquid supply means 13 provided with a spray nozzle comprised of a first nozzle 14 and a second nozzle 15 which spray the washing liquid on the rotating brush of the brush unit as a spray pattern in a fan-like form. Thus the washing liquid is provided as a spray pattern a fan-like form and evenly provided on the brush, enabling the supply of the washing liquid to be controlled in a sufficient range.
