<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a game machine which is capable of widening an updating range of random number values without interfering with the control of a game. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Data of a big win to a counter value (a random number value) of a random number counter 14 and the like are stored in an address previously indicated by a random number of a comparison ROM 17. The count value of the random number counter 14 is constantly output to the comparison ROM 17, and the comparison ROM 17 is configured to output the data on the random number values to a latch register 19. When a determination chance of the big win or the like comes, by just reading the values of the latch register 19, the output data of the comparison ROM 17 can be latched in the latch register 19 and read in a MPU 11. The determination of the big win or the like is made based on the data so as to be executed in a short period of time despite the dimension of the updating range of the random number values. This method can prevent a fraud using "a dangling board" or the like without interfering with the control of the game so as to widen the updating range of the random number values.
