<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide connection element downsizing the structure of a connecting portion of two waveguides. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A waveguide connection element 1 is configured to connect two waveguides 21, 22 and is equipped with: a connection element body 2; and a fixing member 6 for fixing the connection element body 2 to one waveguide 21. The connection element body 2 is equipped with an intra-tube plate portion 3, which is brought into contact with an inner surface (inner surface of a wall portion 22a) where a current flows in a tube axis direction of the other waveguide 22 when the two waveguides 21, 22 are connected, for electrically connecting inner surfaces of the two waveguides 21, 22 with each other.
