SOUND COLLECTION APPARATUS AND MOBILE PHONE DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect sound of user's speech clearly while controlling increase in number of components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone device uses a microphone 19 built into a self-device as a "microphone" for collecting sound of user's speech when in a speaking mode, or also uses it as a "ultrasound sensor" for identifying a distance between the user and a diaphragm 1921 when controlling to assist the user to adjust position and/or attitude of the mobile phone device. This allows the mobile phone device to use the microphone 19 for collecting sound of user's speech to identify the distance between user and the diaphragm 1921 and prompt the user to modify position and/or attitude of the mobile phone device so that sound of user's speech is picked up clearly without additional provisions of components such as sensor or the like.
