QUALITY CONTROL FACILITY FOR A SERIES OF ARTICLES, IN PARTICULAR BOTTLES

The facility comprises a feed belt 2 for articles to be controlled, a carousel having a wheel 3 and an outlet belt 4, a feed screw 8, and exterior guides 9 for guiding the articles around the wheel. The screw 8 is positioned by a bayonet system on its drive spindle. The guides 9 and 20 are adjusted by thumb wheels 17 between different predetermined positions corresponding to different article diameters. The guide supports 25 can be opened following paths 25c about hinged ends 25a. Use for rapid reconfiguration of the facility between different batches of articles (see Figure 2).
