The present invention relates to a labelling machine (1,101) comprising a carrousel (2) having a frame at the periphery of which a plurality of mandrels (3) are rotatably mounted, and, at angularly spaced positions around the carrousel (2), object feeding means (4), label feeding means (5) and object removing means (6), wherein each of the said mandrels (3) receives a label strip (B) from the said label feeding means (5), winds it around the body (12) of the mandrel (3) and wherein a leading and trailing end of the label strip (B) are sealed to form a sleeve label (B') and wherein a plurality of heat sealing means (19) is provided in order to seal the said label strips (B), characterised in that the said heat sealing means (19) comprise a pulse heating bar (20). |
