PURPOSE: A method and a device for guiding a route of a navigation system are provided to enable a driver to accurately recognize an unrecognizable rotation position by visually and auditorily guiding a route. CONSTITUTION: A device for guiding a route of a navigation system comprises an operating block(102), a GPS receiving block(104), a control block(106), an information searching block(108), a map DB(110), and an interface block(114). The operating block is composed of a touch-screen installed in a display screen. The GPS receiving block is composed of a GPS receiving antenna and a satellite signal processor. The control block has a microprocessor. The information searching block searches the map DB. The map DB stores map information data. The interface block inputs landmark point information and surround point information to a navigation system.
