#CMT# #/CMT# The tool has a section provided with a thread, and a set of cutting edges (36-39) formed at another section (33) that is formed as a piercing element, where the cutting edges conically run and meet in a tip. Surfaces lying between the two adjacent cutting edges are formed in v-shape to produce v-shaped cuts (40). Surface sections of the surfaces lie at an angle of 15 to 25 degree. The tip of the latter section is beveled, and is smoothed in circular cone-shape or pyramid shape. The tip is provided with an angular surface. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Piercing tool for an embroidery machine for producing holes or openings to be stitched or fringed in a fabric web. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tip of the section is smoothed in circular cone-shape or pyramid shape, thus achieving high cutting effect, and hence enabling the fabrics of all embroidery base materials to be pierced in an efficient manner, avoiding fraying of long uncut threads of the fabric web, and producing neat openings for subsequent stitching. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cross-sectional view of a piercing tool. 33 : Section 36-39 : Cutting edges 40 : V-shaped cuts. |
