<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ball-point pen chip in which a writing member is discharged into a receiver where a liquid remains in the state that the member is dipped in the liquid, so that generation of hit mark due to mutual collision of chips in the periphery of a small opening is prevented to the utmost and also thin spot and ink leak can be prevented in writing. <P>SOLUTION: A ball as the writing member is rotatably held with a ball holder, thereafter is arranged and a tip opening part of the ball holder is diameter-reduction machined to form the member as a coming-out stopper of the ball.
