RADIATION COLLIMATOR, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation collimator which is high in radiation shield effect, causes no environmental pollution, is excellent in machining accuracy and is easily manufactured, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The radiation collimator includes: a plurality of column shield plates 2 being made of hard metal and arranged so as to face each other in parallel at even intervals; a plurality of row shield plates 3 being made of the hard metal and arranged so as to face each other in parallel at even intervals and so as to perpendicularly intersect with the column shield plates 2 from the proximal end to the distal end of each of the column shield plates 2; and a plurality of optical tubes 4 arranged vertically and horizontally so as to be surrounded by the column shield plates 2 and the row shield plates 3.
