摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacitive coupling type display device with a touch panel that is highly reliable, allowing for finger touch input, and excellent in detection sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent conductive film is formed on a rear surface of an electrostatic capacitive coupling type touch panel so as to block noises generated by a display device. Also, a conductive member is provided so as to supply a voltage to the transparent conductive film on the rear surface. An electrode formed on the electrostatic capacitive coupling type touch panel is divided in accordance with a ratio between the number of X electrodes and the number of Y electrodes, and a floating electrode is formed in a gap caused along with an area decrease so as to adjust an area for the electrode. Shrinkage of the area for the electrode allows a noise level to be lowered more than a signal level is lowered, and thereby an S/N ratio can be raised and detection sensitivity can be improved. Further, lines are branched on a flexible printed substrate, and intersecting lines are provided on a rear surface of the flexible printed substrate so as to orthogonally intersect with lines formed on a front surface, thereby lowering line capacitance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
