PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving technology that operates a fluid motor giving large torque even in a low rotation region at starting accompanied by a large load to attain easy starting and to prevent an electric motor from firing and operates the electric motor stably after the starting, and thus enables cost reduction by eliminating or reducing auxiliary facilities such as a star-delta connection and a reactor resistor required at starting of an electric motor, miniaturization of a control panel, long life of a magnet switch contact point, running cost reduction by reducing the capacity of a power source and the like. SOLUTION: The driving gear is equipped with the electric motor M1 and fluid motor M2 connected to a driving shaft 50 of a jaw crusher 1, and a control device 51 for regulating the gear so as to drive the driving shaft with the fluid motor at starting and switch from the fluid motor to the electric motor to drive the driving shaft with the electric motor when the device detects that the rotating speed of the driving shaft reaches a predetermined value.
