<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which enables a user to simply start an operating system from an external device without regard to a boot priority. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The user can boot a computer without being conscious of a boot priority only by an operation for connecting a removable media, for example, a USB memory, an SD card, or the like. The user can automatically boot the computer again from the removable media with the removal media connected as it is without performing an operation that removes the removal media once and reconnects it again even upon restarting or turning off the power once by automatically setting the boot priority of the previously used removable media in the first place.
