PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and conveniently derive an attenuation factor of ultrasonic wave inside a subject. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic signal processing apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe 20 transmitting ultrasonic wave to a subject, receiving ultrasonic echo from the internal of the subject, and generating a receiving signal indicating the ultrasonic echo; an orthogonal detection section 41 and a phase information computing section 43 acquiring phase information indicating the phase of the ultrasonic echo from the receiving signal; and an attenuation factor derivation section 44 deriving an attenuation factor of ultrasonic wave inside the subject from changes in the phase of the ultrasonic echo in a depth direction of the subject.
