PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission for a vehicle that can apply tooth polishing to a third-speed gear or a fourth-speed gear on the input side. SOLUTION: A first-speed gear 31 and a second-speed gear 32 are arranged at both ends of an input side shift gear train 30 provided at an input shaft 20. In the case of applying tooth polishing to the fourth-speed gear, the third-speed gear 33 and a fifth-speed gear 35 arranged at the center are formed as an integrated structure, and the fourth-speed gear 34 is formed of a mutually separated independent gear. In the case of applying tooth polishing to the third-speed gear, the fourth-speed gear 34 and the fifth-speed gear 35 are formed as an integrated structure, and the third-speed gear 33 is formed of an independent gear.
