PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an indoor lighting system capable of switching between a direct illumination state and an indirect illumination state. SOLUTION: An outer casing 6 is configured rotatably around a light source 3, so that the relative rotational positions of an inner casing 5 and the outer casing 6 are changed, thereby capable of switching between: a state in which only an indirect illumination light Li is emitted, with a window 7a and a window 8a1 serving as indirect illumination light paths overlapping with each other and with a window 7b and a window 8b2 serving as direct illumination light paths not overlapping with each other, and a state in which only a direct illumination light Ld is emitted, with the window 7b and the window 8b2 serving as the direct illumination light paths overlapping with each other and with the window 7a and the window 8a1 serving as the indirect illumination light paths not overlapping with each other.
