<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room-temperature-curing organopolysiloxane composition excellent in storage stability and capable of giving cured products excellent in water resistance, moisture resistance, low-temperature resistance, and adhesion, and to provide a control equipment for automobile sealed with the composition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A room-temperature-curing organopolysiloxane composition includes (A) a hydroxyl- or hydrolyzable-group-containing diorganopolysiloxane, (B) a silylketene acetal type compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein R, R<SP>1</SP>, and R<SP>2</SP>are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group; and a is 2 or 3), a partial hydrolyzate condensate thereof, or a mixture thereof, (C) at least one filler selected from finely powdered silica, aerosol silica, silica aerogel, precipitated silica, zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, zinc carbonate, magnesium carbonate, carbon, and a silane surface-treated product thereof, and (D) an organometallic catalyst. The room-temperature-curing organopolysiloxane can give a cured product excellent in, especially, moisture resistance, water resistance, and low-temperature resistance, and further, even after stored for 6 months, it can cure rapidly upon exposure to air giving a cured product excellent in physical properties.
