<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker including a very delicious rice cooking mode of boiling up the rice more deliciously than an ordinary rice cooking mode in the rice cooking control for polished rice. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the rice cooking control for polished rice, a polished rice ordinary cooking mode and a polished rice very delicious cooking mode are provided as a polished rice cooking mode. In the polished rice very delicious cooking mode, the water absorbing time in a water absorbing step is set longer than that in the polished rice ordinary cooking mode, and also the heating output at the initial stage of a boiling keeping step is set larger than that in the polished rice ordinary cooking mode.
