Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automatic analysis apparatus includes a reagent dispensation mechanism 24 for dispensing phenol red into a reaction vessel 21c at a reagent dispensation position P1, the phenol red having absorbance thereof changed depending on a temperature, a photometric section 26 for measuring the absorbance of the phenol red in the reaction vessel 21c, a temperature calculation section 36 for calculating a temperature estimate value of a mixed liquid of a specimen and the reagent from the absorbance of the phenol red measured by the photometric section 26, a determination section 37 for determining whether or not the mixed liquid of the specimen and the reagent has been measured as to the absorbance thereof at a temperature within a predetermined temperature range based on a determination of whether or not the temperature estimate value of the mixed liquid of the specimen and the reagent calculated by the temperature calculation section 36 is within a predetermined temperature range, and an output section 34 for outputting a determination result determined by the determination section 37.
