<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole detection accuracy inspection method of a steel plate hole detection device capable of securing hole detection accuracy of the steel plate hole detection device by securing frequency of hole detection accuracy inspection of the steel plate hole detection device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether a steel plate tracking hole 11 formed on a weld zone 10 between a steel plate 1 passing formerly and a steel plate 1 passing subsequently is detected or not, and when the hole 11 formed on the weld zone 10 is detected, hole detection accuracy of the steel plate hole detection device is determined to be excellent. Consequently, the hole detection accuracy can be inspected without using a dummy coil 12 having a hole 11 bored therein beforehand, and the hole detection accuracy of the steel plate hole detection device can be secured by securing the frequency of hole detection accuracy inspection of the steel plate hole detection device, and a new hole is not required to be bored for the hole detection accuracy, and therefor the hole detection accuracy inspection is facilitated and the frequency of the hole detection accuracy inspection can be increased furthermore.
