PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide-fitting cap mechanism using a means to prevent a cap from falling off a body of a vessel without using a conventional metallic fall-proof member. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the slide-fitting cap mechanism, wherein a fall-proof member is set in a cap to enable the cap to slide in a body and to prevent the cap from falling off. The fall-proof member is formed by rounding an elastic plastic sheet with a plurality of slits at the center part into a cylindrical shape or a partially cylindrical shape so that the slits are oriented in the cap axis direction and setting the sheet into the cap.
