<p>A method for improving combustion properties of hydrocarbon fuels, comprises the steps of: (a) providing an induction coil at a selected position of a conduit having a central axis, wherein the coil is coaxially disposed with the conduit and has an inner diameter which forms a predetermined gap with outer periphery of the conduit; (b) passing the hydrocarbon fuels to be treated through the conduit; and (c) applying a time-varying frequency current to the induction coil to produce pulsating electromagnetic field around the induction coil, thereby improving a combustion efficiency of the hydrocarbon fuels, decreasing a consumption of the hydrocarbon fuels, and reducing an exhaust emission of the hydrocarbon fuels.</p> |
