METHOD FOR PREVENTING AVALANCHE-LIKE VOLCANIC ERUPTION
摘要

The invention relates to methods for acting on volcanic formations exhibiting solfataric activity and can be used to prevent such formations from erupting. The essence of the invention is that a secondary magmatic channel is divided into two parts: an upper part and a lower part. Inclined channels are drilled into the upper and lower parts of a secondary magma pocket. The channels in the upper part are used for conveying a high-pressure gas and the channels in the lower part are used for discharging magma. The gas pressure in the upper part of the secondary magma pocket is alternately increased and decreased at a frequency greater than the frequency of avalanche-like volcanic eruptions known from the history of the volcano in question, thereby causing the discharge or accumulation of magma. The discharged magma is used in construction and for other production purposes.
