SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WATCHING PIPELINE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for watching a pipeline are provided to rapidly perform a repair work by figuring out damaged position and size using TDR technology. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for watching a pipeline comprises a signal input/output sensor(120), a signal transmitting/receiving part(130), and a central controlling part(200). The signal input/output sensor is insulated, and is attached on a conductive material. A signal reflected wave is input to the signal input/output sensor. The signal transmitting/receiving part outputs a signal to the signal input/output sensor, and transfers the reflected wave from the signal input/output sensor. The central controlling part compares the reflected wave from the transmitting/receiving part with a normal pattern, and detects whether a pipeline is damaged or not.
