Subject: mechanism for regulating the length of the retractable belt of dog leashes. Constitution: a spiral thread 5 on the side surface 2 of the reel 1, the arm 16 sliding on the surface 2, moved by the thread 5 and guided by the shaft 34 of the main side cover 30 throughout the winding and unwinding operation of the belt 33. This leads to the respective movement of the belt following the path of the thread 5 and displacing, thus, the dog coupling 21 with which the belt is coupled and which dog coupling acts, analogously, on the teeth 4 of the reel 1; a simple single button 12 regulates the desired length of the unwound belt 33; a small-sized belt 35 is incorporated to the specially configurated case 36 inside the handle 37 of the device 30 in order to immobilize the device at whatever suitable point, with no continuous holding of the belt required. |
