Injection moulding method and corresponding assembly

In a plastic injection moulding process, the initial pulse precedes a secondary variable pulse in which the internal pressure is regulated against time. The measured time/pressure curve defines a characteristic parameter that is not however coupled to the overall injection process timescale. The characteristic parameter is compared with a predefined target value, and the difference used for the automated temperature correction of the subsequent process cycle. Also claimed is a commensurate plastics injection moulding assembly.
