PURPOSE: A GIS measurement method which records temporary information of constructions and designates real measurement requirement sections Is provided to implement more exact map information of GIS servers by calculating sections in which real measurement is required through comparison between an estimated distance and a vehicle movement distance. CONSTITUTION: If a start location, an end location, and a vehicle movement distance are inputted to a terminal controller(230), the terminal controller transmits a start location signal, an end location signal, and a vehicle movement distance signal through wireless communication. A GIS(Geographical Information System) receiver(310) of a GIS server receives the signals. A GIS controller(320) computes the estimated distance between the start location and the end location. The GIS controller designates a corresponding section as a real measurement requirement section by comparing the estimated distance with the vehicle movement distance. |
