<p>A controller of a washing machine first makes a motor generate a predetermined acceleration torque in the step of detecting quantity of laundry. Then, the controller increases the drum rotation to a predetermined rotating speed. The controller retains the rotation at this predetermined rotating speed for a predetermined time. While the rotation is retained, the controller compares a calculation result output from a displacement calculator with a preset reference value. If the calculation result is smaller than the reference value, the controller detects a state that the washing tub is anchored with respect to the casing.</p> |
