<p>The cover (300) has chambers (34, 35) to receive host processors e.g. Micropass(RTM: intelligent payment processor), and a power supply source e.g. electric battery or solar cell. A link is provided between a main antenna coil (AC1) and one of the host processors. The link comprises internal wirings (C11-C14) and an auxiliary antenna coil inductively coupled with the main antenna coil. A near field communication controller (NFCC) is in the form of semiconductor chip and is connected to the main antenna coil. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing a contact-less communication technology with a portable electronic device.</p> |
