CATALYST FOR PURIFYING DISCHARGING GAS AND METHOD MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A catalyst for purifying exhausted gas and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve VOC removal effect by forming an electroless nickel plated layer for a ceramic media and a precious-metal catalyst plated layer, and to simplify the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for purifying exhausted gas contains a ceramic media, an electroless nickel plated layer formed on the surface of the ceramic media, and a precious-metal catalyst plated layer. The manufacturing method of the catalyst for purifying exhausted gas comprises the following steps: pre-processing the ceramic media; forming the electroless nickel plated layer by dipping the ceramic media into a sulfate solution; and forming the precious-metal catalyst plated layer on the surface of the nickel plated layer.
