PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a computer system are provided to use a parallel communication method, thereby integrally controlling system configuration devices. CONSTITUTION: An inspection signal generating unit(130) generates a test signal and a check signal as inspection signals. It is determined whether a test board normally operates using the test signal. A system inspection unit(140) determines whether an inspection object device normally operates using the check signal.
