<p>PURPOSE: A terminal device and a memory for secure data management of a storage medium, and a method thereof are provided to enhance security of data by using an encryption key and a password. CONSTITUTION: A terminal device and a memory for secure data management of a storage medium, and a method thereof comprise the following steps. If a password inputted from a user is authenticated, it is determined whether an encryption key exists by checking a memory(S210). When the encryption key exists, the encryption key is decoded and the decoded encryption key is authenticated(S220).
