ADAPTIVE DECIMATION FILTER

PURPOSE: An adaptive decimation filter is provided to extract an optimal decimation filter from a decimation frame and a prediction frame by creating a prediction filter from the optimal prediction filter and decimation frame. CONSTITUTION: A command language is processed from a memory(1125) through a processor(1120). A processor creates a decimation frame by applying an initial decimation filter to a raw frame. The processor extracts an optimal prediction filter from the decimation frame and the raw frame. The processor extracts a prediction frame from the optimal prediction filter and the decimation frame.
