PURPOSE: A solid imaging device, a driving method thereof, and a camera system are provided to prevent the generation of blooming and to suppress the output of pixel data of an unnecessary row to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A pixel array unit(110) comprises pixels(110A) containing a photoelectric conversion device. The pixels are arranged in a matrix shape. A pixel unit control unit controls the driving of a pixel array unit to perform read or reset access operation of the pixel array unit according to address information. A pixel drive control unit performs read or reset access operation of an outer line neighboring the window area.
