METHOD FOR THE CONVERSION OF DIESEL TO GAS SPARK-IGNITED ENGINE

摘要

A method for the conversion of diesel to gas spark-ignited engine includes decrease of degree of compression in each combustion chamber through increase of its dimensions. Increase of dimensions of combustion chamber is performed through boring combustion chambers in pistons of diesel. Thickness of metal layers removed is determined by calculation for each specific grade of CE with account of its degree of compression, at that existing configuration of combustion chamber is left without changes.
